During my 3-year training as an office management assistant at babymarkt.de, I was able to gain versatile impressions of every area of the company. My colleagues always made sure that I felt comfortable and had fun at work. I found the training very instructive, exciting and versatile. My development opportunities were just as varied and great as my experiences. I was encouraged in my strengths, so it quickly became clear what I enjoyed the most. After my apprenticeship, I stayed at babymarkt.de and have been working in our purchasing department ever since.

When I started my training as a retail saleswoman at babymarkt.de in 2019, I could never have imagined how I would be able to develop professionally but also personally. In addition, babymarkt.de has always given me the chance to broaden my horizons, whether through training courses or through our legendary parties. As I approached my final exams in the summer of 2022, the big question was of course what to do next. In order to develop even more professionally, babymarkt.de gave me the chance to look behind the scenes and I therefore accepted my place in product management as a team assistant.

Internship

Do you have a passion for e-commerce and enjoy working in a team? – Then come find out what it’s like to work with us. We also offer students the opportunity to complete a trial internship with us.

Depending on your personal interests, you can get to know different areas: from purchasing to sales to administration, there are many possibilities open to you. Ideally, your school work placement should last two to three weeks. Use this time to gain your first exciting insights into everyday working life.

Dual studies

You can’t decide whether you would rather study or complete an apprenticeship? – Then a dual study programme is the solution. This gives you the chance to complete a university degree and gain practical experience with us at the same time.

Since 2018, we have been promoting dual study programmes in cooperation with the International School of Management Dortmund (ISM). During the dual study programme, practical and theoretical phases alternate. This gives you the opportunity to immediately apply your theoretical knowledge in practice. A great plus: a semester abroad is integrated into your dual study programme.
